Description

Snowbasin Resort northeast of Ogden was the 2002 Olympic downhill ski venue. In summer the gondola transports families to 8,000 feet for panoramic views of the Wasatch Range and Great Salt Lake. Easy hiking trails from the summit lead through subalpine meadows and the base lodge serves excellent lunches.
